- A record number of Illinois students took AP exams in 2011, bumping Latino students’ participation rates to an all-time high and moving the state closer to equity among this student population. - The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) is encouraging school administrators to make sure students take advantage of free, nutritious meals and snacks available this summer at more than 1,700 summer food service program sites statewide.
