Nonpublic Educational Entities
The Nonpublic Educational Entity Registration, Enrollment, and Staff Report is to be completed only by nonpublic educational entities registering for the first time. A nonpublic school is any nonprofit, non-home-based, and nonpublic elementary or secondary school (Section 2-3.25o(e) of the Illinois School Code) that is in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and attendance at which satisfies the requirements of Section 26-1 of the Illinois School Code. Only such schools can register and reregister.You may choose to complete the electronically fillable form 87-01A online OR print form 87-01B and complete it by hand. Once you have completed the form (electronically or by hand), please sign, date, and mail it to the address at the top of page 1 for receipt no later than June 25 for the school to be registered by June 30.
Please note: Form 87-01 (A & B) is available from October 1 through June 25.
